J. Sherman Colson, General Manager/CEO
Sherman Colson has more than 20 years of information technology experience-from
planning and system design, through training and project management. Since founding
Colson Technology in 1994, he has combined extensive computer knowledge with a keen
focus on putting client needs first. "Our purpose is ultimately to take care
of customers, not computers."
Stan Colson, Technology Consultant
Stan has extensive work experience in the fields of information management
and photography with Boeing. He specializes in computer, server and network hardware, remote
monitoring and administration, and spyware-related issues.
Stan earned a degree in Computer Services and Network Technology from Lake Washington
Technical College, a bachelor’s degree in Professional
Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of
Puget Sound. Currently he is completing his Microsoft Professional Certifications.
Craig Lemke, Technology Consultant
Craig started his IT career when he transferred to a Help Desk department
in 1994. Since then Craig has worked his way up and has held positions as
Technical Lead, Systems Engineer, and most recently as Client Services Manager.
Craig has done work for many medium and large businesses in the greater Seattle area.
One of Craig’s greatest strengths is his ability to combine standard best practices
with the needs of the business to create a stable and secure IT environment.
Eric Cormier, Technology Consultant
After completing 3 years of college at Texas A&M University, Eric relocated to Dallas
to work for a small IT business. In late 2005 he completed his Bachelor's degree in
Business Information Systems at the University of Phoenix. Following this Eric took his
experience and knowledge to Best Buy’s newly created Best Buy for Business division as an
IT Network Engineer, during which time he completed his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
and Small Business Specialist certifications. One of Eric’s true enjoyments
is seeing his expertise and assistance help others achieve their business goals and dreams.
Tim Matson, Technical Consultant
Tim has worked in the technology field for over 15 years specializing in Microsoft
products and solutions. He holds a variety of certifications including MCSA
(Microsoft Certified System Administrator) and MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer).
Tim was the Security and Engineering Manager for Boullioun Aviation Services,
a global aircraft leasing company, for over 9 years. He is a graduate of both
SANS courses in Windows security and has been a member of the Microsoft Security Community.
Tim joined Colson Technology to help improve security and operability for our
clients and is committed to bringing the human touch to technology that is
unique to Colson Technology.
Timothy Davis, Help Desk Technical Consultant
Timothy joined the Colson Team with experience in technology he received working for a vendor
of Microsoft where his responsibilities included networking, software and hardware
installation and troubleshooting, and being the technical lead for Microsoft
conferences and events. With his technical as well as managerial background,
he is a great fit for Colson Technology. Tim is a Microsoft Certified Desktop Support
Technician, and is currently studying to pass his MCSE certification.
Cynthia Toavs, Office Administrator
Cindy manages all office functions from client and human relations to
bookkeeping. She takes pride in doing her job well, and is adept at organizing
the accounting and scheduling so operations run smoothly for everyone.
